It's not too big nor too small for an SUV. It drives smooth and it's cute!
Can't do better period.

It's like driving your living room up a mountain. Auto everything. Wipers, headlights, high beams, back up warning actually turns down your radio so you can hear it. Remote at night turns on access lights under the rear view outside mirrors and lights up the ground by the doors. My 6 cyl. gets 24 mpg around town in the summer with the a/c on or up a mountain.
WOW - what a super ride!

This was a great purchase. It's a terrific vehicle, and the CARMAX extended warranty makes owning it worry-free. British automobiles have a special appeal to many, and the Continental feeling is a welcomed change to what has been (until recently) a boring result for American-manufactured products. I have a small garage, and the LR2 fits this need well. Fuel economy is questionable, but we drive very, very few miles per year, so that issue is no problem. For folks wanting a safe, solid, and winter-proof ride, this product is excellent. We always install after-market remote-start units on our vehicles, and this is costly on an LR. (It is so stupid that original manufacturers so often fail to include RS as original issue. They are bound to, before long for us folk who have snow problems in winter plus hot summers to contend with.) I traded in a '06 S-type Jaguar to Carmax, got a good price, and was lucky they had a this Rover on the lot. I think Carmax has a good business model, and wold consider buying their stock.
They’re big. They’re bold. They’re kinda in your face. Tall pickup trucks and SUVs have the kind of ride height that gets you over, through, and around the kind of rough terrain which stops other vehicles in their tracks. If you live in a place with lots of snow, mud, or uneven ground, ride height (defined as the distance between the bottom of your truck’s tires and the lowest point on the underside) is probably more important to you than road-hugging and handling characteristics and strong fuel efficiency.
