I have always loved the look of the Range Rover. I had driven a Lexus suv in the past and had no troubles at all. However, I finally decided to trade in my 6yo Lexus for a new Range Rover Sport. I ordered the exterior and interior colors I wanted. I couldn't wait:) Within a month of taking delivery of my beautiful, new car, I found the car alarm going off several times a day for no reason. I found out that the hood latch was defective and the company still hadn't replaced these latches on the new cars. Next, my rear view mirror kept getting stuck. They close when you lock the door. My mirror would get stuck mid-way so I couldn't see out of it. I had to have that replaced. My tire pressure monitoring system kept going haywire and had to be replaced. I wore newly washed jeans and they stained my new leather. I have yet to get these stains out. The rims on my tires are so large, they get scrapped very easily. The interior room is quite cramped compared to my Lexus. No doubt about- This is a great looking car. I love the exterior. However, I have had so many maintenance issues and I haven't even had my car for one year. I always have trouble getting a loaner car when I take my car in. I never had this issue with Lexus. If I had to do it again, I NEVER would have purchased a Range Rover. I should have looked at an Infinity or the new Lexus.
They’re big. They’re bold. They’re kinda in your face. Tall pickup trucks and SUVs have the kind of ride height that gets you over, through, and around the kind of rough terrain which stops other vehicles in their tracks. If you live in a place with lots of snow, mud, or uneven ground, ride height (defined as the distance between the bottom of your truck’s tires and the lowest point on the underside) is probably more important to you than road-hugging and handling characteristics and strong fuel efficiency.
