After owning 3 other brand 4x4s and tradeing them off after a year because they just didn't perform like we wanted , we made our fourth car a Land Rover Discovery and on the first drive , fell in love ! In fact , we loved it so much into the 6th year with it we decided that we would trade our Mercedes S class off on a second one as our luxury car and that's when we found the Range Rover sport HSE LUX and now we have two Land Rovers we love ! So The reason I recommend the Land Rover is because, for me to trade off my Mercedes on a 4x4 , You know it has to be a fantastic car ! I have all the comfort, Toys and safety I had with the S class , in fact more ! I love them both !
I was in the market for months for my Range Rover Sport. I read all of the reviews and was happy with what I found. I think mechanically they don't have the best reputation but the reviews for 2008 and newer models comforted me. I love the beefy look of the truck and it drives and handles amazing. The interior feels very rich and I couldn't be happier. I did purchase an extended warranty. The only negative is the space in the cargo area. It's smaller than I hoped but I am completely in love with this vehicle. I got a great deal at Carmax and my experience exceeded my expectations.
I bought the range rover sport from CarMax a 2008 with 12,700 miles, it looks and smells like a brand new carto me this is my demo Range Rover Sport The performance is outstanding, regarding acceleration, handling, taking the curves, it has been a great performer, and I had before BMW X 5, Mercedes Benz ML 350, and Hummer H3. This is the best SUV I had by Far. On the interior the craftsmans, the sound system and quality of the leader is supreme, it has high Quality with a very classic and sporting style. On gas consumption on Highway I get 22 MPG and on city 16 MPG, very similar to the ML 350. However the only improvement that I can tell Land Rover, its the accelerator, its very sensible and responsive, it takes a couple of weeks to be gentle when driving it, to avoid the usual pull back I hope this review is helpful to some of the readers Top Gear 007
