After owning 3 other brand 4x4s and tradeing them off after a year because they just didn't perform like we wanted , we made our fourth car a Land Rover Discovery and on the first drive , fell in love ! In fact , we loved it so much into the 6th year with it we decided that we would trade our Mercedes S class off on a second one as our luxury car and that's when we found the Range Rover sport HSE LUX and now we have two Land Rovers we love ! So The reason I recommend the Land Rover is because, for me to trade off my Mercedes on a 4x4 , You know it has to be a fantastic car ! I have all the comfort, Toys and safety I had with the S class , in fact more ! I love them both !

If you want luxury, yes. I have read many of the reviews however on the maintenance of these vehicles and Im hoping that the 2012 model did not have nearly the problems other years had. So far, the vehicle has been a dream. However, I have noticed this pecking noise from the engine and when I brought to the attention of mechanics, they said that was normal for my vehicle that has all the injectors. I am also concerned about the electrical system - everything is electrical which is amazing on one hand but I know can be expensive on the other. So far though, Ive only owned this used vehicle 3 months and I am still very happy I purchased it.
They’re big. They’re bold. They’re kinda in your face. Tall pickup trucks and SUVs have the kind of ride height that gets you over, through, and around the kind of rough terrain which stops other vehicles in their tracks. If you live in a place with lots of snow, mud, or uneven ground, ride height (defined as the distance between the bottom of your truck’s tires and the lowest point on the underside) is probably more important to you than road-hugging and handling characteristics and strong fuel efficiency.
