A RR is not for everyone, but if you are reading this and comparing it to other brands, go with the RR. It is a great car. I traded my 1999 RR HSE for the 2008. I thought the 1999 was fun and was reasonably dependable for an older car, so I was not scared of the RR. The 2008 is an awesome upgrade. I looked at the 2002-06 version, but was not what I wanted in terms of interior quality and 4X4 excellence. The 2007 and later versions are great. I never had any crazy problems with my 1999 and the 2008 passed my independent shop's testing. I plan on keeping this RR until I can give it to my son when he turns 18, which is 10 years off.

If you are in the market for an SUV this one has it all. When you slip into the seat it just feels like a quality vehicle. This fun classy car will take you safely to your destination.
They’re big. They’re bold. They’re kinda in your face. Tall pickup trucks and SUVs have the kind of ride height that gets you over, through, and around the kind of rough terrain which stops other vehicles in their tracks. If you live in a place with lots of snow, mud, or uneven ground, ride height (defined as the distance between the bottom of your truck’s tires and the lowest point on the underside) is probably more important to you than road-hugging and handling characteristics and strong fuel efficiency.
