As most already know, this is Lexus' version of the Toyota Prius, so very similar in many ways but at the same time different as well. First of all, this Lexus hybrid gets the best fuel economy out of all Lexus models (43/40 city/highway). Second, the vehicle is lightweight and powered by a 1.8 L I4 motor which produces 134 hp built on a eCVT-i transmission. This is how the hybrid gets its performance while at the same time conserving fuel usage via regenerative braking technology and reduced wear-and-tear on the engine/mechanical components. Finally, the CT200h is built with a nickel-metal hydride battery, meaning the vehicle self-charges just by simple driving and braking, no plug-in needed. Enough talk... see for yourself the CT200h!
This is an easy to handle vehicle that gets great gas mileage. I have gotten up to 45 mpg for combined city and highway. My husband, who is 6'6", enjoys driving it too. The overall quality of the interior and exterior is wonderful; very luxurious and tastefully done. The only negative that I can think of is that there are some blind spots that you have to be careful with.
