I bought the car to have a comfortable, fuel-efficient vehicle for a very annoying commute. I average 47 mpg and have been delighted with the performance of the car. It is very comfortable for 4 passengers, and I've have had NO mechanical problems. The Lexus staff is much more respectful than the Toyota guys, so I'm happy to pay a few grand more for great service.
I bought my car used, had 28,000miles on it. I love my car, I'm averaging over 45 mpg easily on regular gas. Interior feels premium, and everything just feels nice. Drives beatifully, I thought it would be under powered, but it's got plenty of pickup when you need it. If you can find a good deal, I definitely recommend this car.
This is an easy to handle vehicle that gets great gas mileage. I have gotten up to 45 mpg for combined city and highway. My husband, who is 6'6", enjoys driving it too. The overall quality of the interior and exterior is wonderful; very luxurious and tastefully done. The only negative that I can think of is that there are some blind spots that you have to be careful with.
