Transmission: Automatic Color:Silver Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.667 reviews) After owning an XC90 for over 7 years, I must say that the transition to the Lexus should've happened sooner. The good: car is extremely comfortable, and with way more bells and whistles that one would consider for an SUV. Both SUV's came loaded of optional features, but Lexus still surpasses Volvo by every single detail. The bad: both cars were expensive and the ownership costs seem high for both. Volvo got me in the shop at least once a year to go over a major maintenance service (read over $2000), plus the regular 3-4 services. Hopefully with the Lexus, those major maintenance will not occur as often. The ugly: mpg. Both vehicles cannot give you anything close to 20 mpg if you drive in the city or less than 5-6 miles daily. As a matter of fact, both cars average 13mpg. However, Lexus has much more engine and power than the Volvo, hence a more justifiable excuse to perform under 20. In essence, a Lexus is a superior vehicle. I had driven the GL450 and quite honestly, for a Benz, it lacks several standard features on the Lexus. Even the back seats have heater/ cooler. The only thing I miss from my XC90 is the cargo space when the 3rd row seat was "up". Lexus' cargo space is significantly smaller.

Great luxury car and hassle free maintenance

Lots of luxury features - cooling/heating front row, heating 2nd row, reclining second row, backup camera, sensors on front and back, & drives like a luxury car...not a truck like some SUV's.

like it alot

VERY SMOOTH and LOOKS, I am so happy my wife picked this as next and best suv. I enjoy the smooth ride and it is all so comfortable. Gas mileage is good so far, the only thing I wished it had was a rear dvd entertainment system, we do have a sun roof and that is good. We are so happy with my wife's pick, I was there to her husband but she had the main decision.
