Customer Review Summary for Lexus HS 250h
Luxury, Value & Fuel Economy
2010 Lexus HS 250hLexus Nexus - , 04/28/2013
After about a month of driving I am getting 37 mpg. The display will normally calculate 39 or 40 but dividing mileage and gallons pumped into the tank equates to 37. The recommended fuel is 87 so I save over having to get 93 like most luxury cars. The HS has all the options of most Lexus cars except the heads up display. I love all the automation and it simply works. I haven't driven enough to start paying for maintenance or repairs so not sure on what it will cost to maintain it. In eco mode it is a bit sluggish when you gun it; there must be a limiter because in power mode it has plenty of power to get onto the interstate from stop to 65. I have plenty of leg room and I'm 6'1". There is about the same head room I had with my Acura TL. With the joystick and nav there is less storage accessible from the driver side but it's manageable.
Not a bad car

With the price your paying, you will think you'll get a navigation system. I personally think that this Lexus has luxury but needs more by the competitors, Toyota (which is a Lexus), Honda, Ford, and even Chevrolet.I think Lexus needs to up its game on the HS 250H because it is NOT with the prospects of the competitors.

Lexus has done a lovely job with this model. The hybrid technology is getting us 38 miles per gallon on the highway, and the ride is smooth. The inside of the car feels like a spaceship. In a good way. Lots of bells and whistles. It takes a little adjustment from our older Passat. Overall, very happy with the comfort, mileage and of course the gorgeous look of the car.
