i got a used lexus is300 and absolutely love it. i trade it up for the 2009 lexus is250 and is the worst decision i ever made. performance:: the car is as slow as it can be. from start to finish. not enough power and if you have more then 2 people in the car u can press on it wit all u got and still only going 60 miles on a 70 miles zone
space: there is no space in the car. im 4'11 weight 100 pounds the car was made for me. my bf is 5'7 cant fit unless he move his seat all the way back which took up the back seat. god forbid if he start gaining weight we may have to buy a different car
navigation system:: i like it is nice, but you cannot use it when you are driving. you have to come to a complete stop to use the gps. i can understand is safety reason but when im lost and my bf just sitting right next to me and cant even help me change the address. bad bad bad bad bad!!!
i cant take the kids out from the car seat witout hitting their head 10/10 it will happen. cannot be avoid
only 1 cup holder in the front!!! this car was made for 1 lonely person!!
*** i see people with honda or toyota and have a better experience. i wouldnt recommend this car to anyone that have friends, kids, husband/wife***
comfort and performance were falling short on this vehicle. i would trade it in a heart beat if i didnt have so much money putting into it already**

I received the invite to review my car on Mar 26th but wanted to wait longer before commenting. Over all, this is a fantastic car! The engine is small for a V6 but the "get up and go" is fairly good. What I really like is the mpg for city/ hwy. My tank avg is 34.4 when I am being gentle. I do tend to drive the car aggressively at times though, keeping the transmission in the pwr setting. I don't use the manual shift feature all that much as the computer does a good job of selecting the right gear. The ride for sports tuned car is also really good and having the ventilated seats is a MUST have in hot weather. I've had heated seats over the years and didn't think having a cooling feature mattered. It does!
Now the bad! While the exterior was nearly flawless, there were some swirl marks in the paint. Maybe a good rubbing compound could have taken care of that. I don't know. Also, the leather interior wasn't as clean as I would have liked so I paid a car detailer to give the car a good cleaning and that helped out a lot. One last thing is that at times there appears to be a drive train "shudder" that I have begun to notice. This will be looked into very soon.
Over all, I am very pleased with my Lexus. It is truly a great car with high build quality.
Luxury cars come in all shapes and sizes, but they are all expected to look good and perform well. One advantage of buying a used luxury car is that you get the luxury look-and-feel that you want at a more affordable price.
