The website won't specify this is an IS250C. The C being the most important! I have owned 3 convertibles before this one, all ragtops. There's no comparison. If you are one of the afflicted who must own a sporty droptop (face it, the boring people think we are nuts), then power hardtop is the only way to go.----- I'm not a kid. I've had MANY cars, I knew what I wanted, and I was in no hurry. I'm 6'2" and overweight, so right off the bat I have to rule out many true sports cars - all seemingly made for midgets. If I was 4 inches shorter I would be in an MX-5. This is better looking, more luxurious... but not quite a true sports car. VW EOS was a close second, but I like RWD.
06 Lexus IS250 - It is a beautiful car with excellent quality/workmanship, but there is no room in the back seats to fit an average size adult much less a car seat. The front seats were redesigned in 08' to increase leg room for the rear passengers. The suspension is too hard and uncomfortable for long drives. The braking system feels like an on and off switch. I could not come to a stop without jerking the vehicle. Looking back I should have opted for the IS350, maybe the increased horsepower would of helped me overlook this vehicle's short comings.
