My wife sold a 2003 Corevette and a 1999 Lexus RX because she really loved the ride and comfort of the Lexus...and she wanted her winter car in the garage! I was never impressed with the 99 personally, it leaned too much and didn't handle like a car should. When we started looking, she wanted a 2009 Infiniti FX35 or the 2009 Lexus RX350 (we eliminated BMW, Audi, MB, Cadillac, Lincoln, and Acura based on looks, drive, etc). When drove the FX which was her pick based on looks, she said it rode too hard and was too tight inside (I loved everthing about it). She decided on the dark gray Lexus with black leather; excellent by my standards as she really wanted another black car. She calls this "wannabe black" and is much easier to keep looking good. In addition to every option available (backup camera, nav, blue tooth, etc), this RX350 has the performance suspension; an amazing addition that gives the car much improved handling. It's a little touchy on tip-in, but we're easily getting used to it. The power liftgate is a must! The nav system is DVD-based and is in need of a map update (probably the only thing I've found to complain about). The car had 34k when we bought it. Took it on a 1000 mile trip and otherwise have been driving around town. We got 22.5 mpg on the highway, not bad for AWD. Getting about 17.5 mpg in town. Bought the extended warranty (6 years) and hope we never get to use it. My wife loves it...I'm perfectly OK with it...and we're both glad we bought it.

I LOVE my RX350... it just floats down the road. Has lots of bells and whistles including navigation, heated seats, etc. It get great gas milage - 21+ in the city and 24+ on the highway.
