2008 Lexus RX 400hSEXY LEXY - Central Texas03/24/2011
Prior to purchasing this RX 400H, I was always a big luxury suv girl, but recent times with the gas prices being so crazy had to have a change of lifestyle. But i really expected better gas mileage than the 24/25 city. When i purchased it the sticker had said 31/32 city mpg. But its getting better.
Smooth ride, great gas mileage IF you know how to drive a hybrid. This is not a SUV that you just pummel down the highway, you have to drive it gently in order to get the best mileage.
Plenty of room for a family of three, anymore than that, get something bigger.
And to those that said this car can't handle snow, I drove it around in one of the worst winters California has seen in years. We had about 50 inches of snow and this car was great on wet snow and ice.
I've also taken it in the backcountry, in deep snow, and it was fine. Just bring a shovel and know what you are doing.

The 400h is a fast car with great feel and controlability, but the tires seem to wear uneven. I had to replace the factory tires at 25,000miles even with schedualed tire rotations and air preasure. Overall it is a good car just get ready to buy tires quickly and the fuel ecconomy is only about 22mpg with the awd model.
Many drivers who want a best crossover seek out one of the popular vehicles on this list. Why the big deal about a crossover SUV? It’s the solid mix of roomy interior and a smaller size that fits in plenty of parking spaces.
