I didn't like that I had to use high test fuel all the time , with that added cost , but got low mileage in exchange . I also thought Lexus would have been luxurious; my Lincoln MKT & my Honda Pilot Elite both have more luxury features than the Lexus , they both also use regular gas and both also get better mileage. I live on the side of a mountain and if I stopped to send a text , when I started again , I didn't like that the Lexus would roll back & make a clicking sound until the gears engaged. What I did like about the Lexus was the ground clearance . It's nice to GX460 sit that high & not worry about getting stuck in the snow ; and the Lexus service dept at Flow Lexus in Winston Salem, NC was outstanding .
Very comfortable, reliable and attractive ride! Wonderful 4 wheel drive, predictable gas and maintenance costs. Moon roof, 2 way SOS Safety system, phone, camera and Sirius XM are my favorite features offered. Any one who appreciates luxury will recognize it at a reasonable price point.
This is a roomy, but not overly large SUV. The cargo capacity is great. We drove to Florida for a month's vacation after buying it and we fit all our luggage, food, household items, two dogs and their crates with no problem. It's comfortable, quiet and handles well. It also has good pickup. Mileage is about what you would expect for this type car, but better than what I was getting on my Subaru Outback. Love it!.
