I do not understand how an American brains like Lincoln has a very simple dashboard on the drivers side and an ugly rectangular box so big and completely unattractive on the passengers side. I own a 1999 Lincoln Navigator that looks way better than this new model. I was ready to buy this new model , but I was so disappointed with it that I just walked away. The Cadillac Escalade is so much better, beautiful , elegant and just perfect.

08 Navigator

For the money, the 08 Navigator (purchased in 2010) presented great value, performance and comfort, relative to new smaller luxury and upper mid tier SUV's. (We were also considering the Volvo XC90 and GMC Acadia). The automatic folding seats in the back are a huge plus, and the gas mileage is not that much different than many crossover SUV's (about 2-3mpg less). The power difference more than makes up for that, as does the conveneince and comfort factors.

IT IS WHAT IT IS

These are quality vehicles and ride better than the caddy and the infinity. More room than both and more bang for your money. Plenty of bling too! It gets plenty of compliments also just like its rivals but not enough credit where it is due! GREAT VEHICLE.

No more squished children/ Stylish and Comfortable

I was very specific about not wanting a van for our family of 6. There's nothing wrong with a van, it's just not my preference. The 06 Navigator we purchased handles like a smaller vehicle, not an 8-passenger SUV. It's roomy, stylish, and is fully loaded with Heated and Air Conditioned seats, Remote DVD player, voice commands, sun-roof, and other electronic extras like keyless entry, and reverse notifications so I won't back into anything or anyone. We spend approximately $85 to fill it up on 91/Premium, so I'm sure with gas prices fluctuating, it may go up or down but we're prepared for that. It's a beautiful luxury vehicle and we're glad that we found it at a local CarMax.
