Customer Review Summary for Lincoln Town Car
Priced right, this ride is a dream
2007 Lincoln Town CarCharles Jennings - Baton Rouge, LA07/18/2015
This car is large enough to afford its occupants some semblance of safety -- unlike most of the tin-cans-with-wheels out there today. It has a powerful engine that is very responsive to the gas pedal, so it can get you out of the way if you need to move quickly. It is a well-made automobile that provides an extremely comfortable ride.
2007 Lincoln Town CarArthur Carver - Lottsburg, VA05/01/2015
There is no room for my legs and my knees always hit the steering wheel and it is difficult to enter and be seated. My right leg muscles ache after 200 miles. And during a 600 mile trip with my 30 year old son (with stop breaks every 150 miles) even he complained about the discomfort!! I have a 2002 Chevy Astro van that is very comfortable for my legs.
Big Town Car
2001 Lincoln Town CarStevie - Pasadena, CA10/12/2010
This is a wonderfully smooth cruiser. It has excellent power 0 to 40 mph. For passing on the highway between 60 and 80 it is slow as molasses going up hill. in the month of march. Seriously underpowered for that type of driving. Ford had a 5.7 liter engine they could have dropped in here but did not for some in explicable reason. ( They even have a V10 which could have been used? )
My friend has a Rolls Royce ( 1979 and 1984 )and that car is no smoother to ride in than the Lincoln Town Car. So why not buy a used Rolls? Well the repair cost on a Rolls is five times what a Ford dealer will charge me to repair the Lincoln.
It is sad to see Ford cancelliong the Town Car in 2011.
Around the country, shoppers are seeking out different cars and trucks. We see the search patterns, in the northeast, southeast, midwest, southwest, and west coast. And we’re sharing our results with you.
Henry Ford once famously told customers that his Model T came in any color they wanted, so long as that color was black. That was over 100 years ago. Today, the vehicles available to us come in a variety of colors, shapes, and sizes, with a profusion of available options and features. Whether you're shopping for a quality used vehicle, or you want to take the plunge with a new car, 2017 is a great time to see what's available.
