This car is truly excellent and unusual. The Cartier was the top of the line Lincoln and the "L" model was stretched 6" longer than the standard model. It has all the expected Lincoln options, but also a carriage roof, Alpine sound system with 6 disk CD and cassette player, and a unique console in the back seat with controls for the climate control and stereo, plus a switch that moves the right front passenger seat forward several inches for additional legroom. It is essentially a bridge car between the standard Town Car and the limosine. The seats are electrically adjustable and each seat has its own individual heating controls. Instruments are partially digital and partially analog.....a very clear and easy to understand layout. The stereo is a little complicated, but after you get it set up it's got a truly great sound. The ride is extraordinarily smooth and quiet...the air suspension even smooths out speed bumps. Gas mileage is acceptable for a car this size (I've gotten about 15 city and 24 highway average) and it uses regular 87 octane gas. The only negative is that the steering is not very precise. It has the general feel of a large American car from the 1960s, but I grew up on those cars so it's fine for me. I'm not sure how a standard Town Car looks, handles or feels, but the Cartier L model is an awesome vehicle!

This car has a smooth look and runs well. It is a safe vehicle that I feel comfortable in driving. I do not like sardine size vehicles that can't hold the road, this one has that capability. Vehicle also provide all of the storage space I need to travel with bowling balls and suitcases if traveling out of town.
