2003 Lincoln Town CarKarlos - Austin, TX11/21/2006
This is my 2nd Town Car. And I am still impressed on how well it drives, it's quietness, luxury feel and its looks. These are many of the same reasons I decided to get into a Town Car again as my first has the same great features. People talk about Lexus and Toyotas high end cars, but they always felt closed in for me. The Town Car is very roomy in the inside and has large, comfortable seats. My first Town Car lasted 140,000 miles (I had it for 5+ years). It then provided plenty of safety for my brother's life in a serious accident (which totaled the car). During those 140,000 miles very little was required in repairs. It is a very reliable car. Plus, the kind of car you want to be in during a serious accident.

This is a wonderfully smooth cruiser. It has excellent power 0 to 40 mph. For passing on the highway between 60 and 80 it is slow as molasses going up hill. in the month of march. Seriously underpowered for that type of driving. Ford had a 5.7 liter engine they could have dropped in here but did not for some in explicable reason. ( They even have a V10 which could have been used? )
My friend has a Rolls Royce ( 1979 and 1984 )and that car is no smoother to ride in than the Lincoln Town Car. So why not buy a used Rolls? Well the repair cost on a Rolls is five times what a Ford dealer will charge me to repair the Lincoln.
It is sad to see Ford cancelliong the Town Car in 2011.
This is a vehicle that has the best ride ever.

Everything about this town car is first rate except for the gas mileage. However, that was expected, so I'm okay with that, and totally worth it.
