Transmission: Automatic Color:Black Interior Color: Brown Average Vehicle Review: (4.703 reviews) Such a fun little car. I look forward to finding an empty windy road whenever I can and just throwing it into the corners. The sense of confidence it provides and how solid and planted it feels in all conditions. Slowing down for a corner seems so antiquated now. I do have to think twice about making any purchase as the cargo space is extremely limited. Also the interior does get a bit loud on a rough road since with the convertible soft top you are basically driving in a drum. I don't believe there is such a thing as a perfect car, but this is as close as it gets. The few downsides are minor compared to all of the benefits such as Japanese reliability and the sense of fun this car distills in you.

Very nice ride!

Very sporty looking midsize for those of us who don't want to drive the typical family four-door. Rides very smooth and engine power is more than adequate for day to day driving. I was surprised at how well the car maneuvers and corners considering it's footprint (this is a long car to park). Fuel economy on the highway is spot on and this car is made to cruise with four full size adults in it. Fuel economy in the city suffers the more you have to run through the gears in city traffic. Not bad by any means but expect closer to 21-22 mpg in the city not the advertised 25/26. My only real complaint with the car are the 19" tires. The tires Mazda puts on this car do not last long and expect to take a huge hit in the wallet to replace.

Fun car, that's a pleasant surprise

For the average college student this car perfect. Great gas mileage without the cost of feeling sluggish. the CVT transmission makes it a smooth ride, and the car's acceleration is enough for people who want to feel quick. Trunk and cargo space allows you to haul around 3 other people and have plenty of comfortable space. This year of Mazda 3's are easily maintained, and have very few recalls. The ones that exist are minor blemishes.
