Even better, almost every time I drive it people stop, look, and smile. I've heard "nice car!" so many times, but every single time it still makes me happy. What more can you ask but to have a car that makes both you and the people around you happy?

Transmission: Manual 6 Speed Color:Blue Interior Color: Brown Average Vehicle Review: (4.605 reviews) Fun to drive, good fuel economy, reliable. This is my second Miata, they make great commuter cars as well as fun weekend toys - they're reliable, the handling is great, and the look good. They are smaller than a typical sedan, so they don't have a lot of interior space or luggage space. Obviously, you should make sure you fit comfortably and can see out of it before buying. Similarly if you have to haul kids around, or a lot of parcels every day, then a two seat roadster might not be the right car for you. Fuel economy is pretty good, I'm getting mid-20's to low 30's depending on how much town and open road driving I'm doing. It's not the highest mpg rating but it's pretty good for a sports car.

Transmission: Manual 6 Speed Color:Silver Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.938 reviews) Such a fun little car. I look forward to finding an empty windy road whenever I can and just throwing it into the corners. The sense of confidence it provides and how solid and planted it feels in all conditions. Slowing down for a corner seems so antiquated now. I do have to think twice about making any purchase as the cargo space is extremely limited. Also the interior does get a bit loud on a rough road since with the convertible soft top you are basically driving in a drum. I don't believe there is such a thing as a perfect car, but this is as close as it gets. The few downsides are minor compared to all of the benefits such as Japanese reliability and the sense of fun this car distills in you.

Great little sports car

Fabulous handling, great fit

There's nothing like a roadster for excellent cornering and maneuvering, but I believe the Miata to be the best roadster I've driven. Had a Toyota MR2 Spyder prior to this, which I dearly loved, but the Miata is more refined - the steering and braking are like glue on velvet. In terms of comfort, this car is a great fit for a short/petite person like me. All the controls are easily within reach and I never feel cramped. Dashboard is great - traditional yet sporty - none of that crazy futuristic stuff. With major road bumps, you'll hear loud bangs inside the cabin, but you will also notice that road bumps will not bounce you or sway you in this car, like in other cars. It handles dips in the road with unbelievable stability.

A Fun Car to Drive

This is my fourth Miata - I have driven them since 1995. I really enjoy driving Miatas, and my latest one that I purchased this year is even better than the earlier ones. Very smooth ride, but what I have always liked best is the responsiveness of the steering and acceleration and the really good excellent way it holds the road on turns and curves. My current Miata is my first retractable hardtop and I like the convenience. I was pleasantly surprised to find a bit more trunk space in this car over its predecessors. People have started conversations with me about the car in parking lots and so forth which is a very pleasant experience. Good on gas, and among all four of my Miatas I have needed almost no repairs.
