Even better, almost every time I drive it people stop, look, and smile. I've heard "nice car!" so many times, but every single time it still makes me happy. What more can you ask but to have a car that makes both you and the people around you happy?

2006 Miata

Just want to give credit to Mazda for building a wonderfully invigorating little car. My wife and I are having a lot of fun zipping around with it. It was difficult to drive for the first few days since I hadn't owned a stickshift since '97, but the more I drive it, the better the experience gets.

More Smiles Per Gallon Than Any Other Car

I never thought I'd buy a Miata. I'm a pretty tall guy and a long-time Honda driver. I also thought the Miata would be underpowered. All it took to change my mind was one test drive. First, the car fits my 6'3" body like a glove, with no headroom or legroom issues even with the top up. And, although it's not a muscle car with a huge chunk of metal under the hood, this car is a the perfect sports car--fast enough to knock you back in your seat off a red light, light enough to throw it around curves, and completely balanced. I feel more comfortable driving up twisty mountain roads at 50mph than I would in a Mustang at 30. The next smile you'll get is when it comes time to fill the Miata up. I routinely get 25mpg city and got 36mpg on my last cross-country trip. About that cross country trip: driving very long distances is always a bit uncomfortable, but having the top down does help :)

This car is gorgeous and a blast to drive

- Beautiful styling outside and in - Awesome hard-top that doesn't take away any of the (already limited) space - This car sticks to the road like crazy. Driving it on switchbacks in Malibu and in the San Gabriel Mountains was a complete blast. - The only affordable and reliable (check Consumer Reports) convertible on the market
