I purchased a used CX-7 and I love that it drives fast. The only down side to this vehicle is you will need to purchase the full warranty before your dealer warranty expires. I had a problem with the air compressor going out after the warranty expired and the dealer wanted to charge "an arm and a leg" for repairs. I took it to another repair shop and paid $1,200. I later found out that it was a recall but it was too late. Not a good choice to purchase if you travel a lot. It is gas thirsty...so buyers beware, it ONLY USES PREMIUM fuel, which is sometimes more than $3.00/gallon!!!
This is the worst crossover to date. Way over priced and very expensive to repair. Everything is cheaply made and hard to find when needing replaced. Mazda is a very poor company to deal with and has no concerns for the customer. My 2007 CX-7 has 58,000 total highway miles and out of warrenty. I've spent over $2500 in repairs to fix a bad hid light and a/c compressor and now it looks like my turbo seals are going bad. I still owe $23000 on this junk and it is worth $12000 on its best day. It's hard to sleep at night knowing we bought this thing and can't get rid of it and nobody(mazda or dealer) thinks they should help, so what does that tell you of their workmanship and quality of vehicle. Can't give any photos because it is still in the shop.
