I bought my CX9 just before Christmas. I love it. I did research on this vehicle before I bought it and heard nothing but great reviews. I haven't been able to test out the AWD yet. Hopefully I'll get to go to the snow soon. It has great space. The vehicle doesn't look big but is spacious inside. Even the third row seat has enough room for an adult man to sit fairly comfortably.
Doesn't get much better than this.

The Cx-9 is a wonderful suv. The space is decent, the performance is pretty good, and it is relatively cheaper than it's competitors. Some cons are gas mileage( but giving the size that's not to shocking), and the ride can be a bit harsh at times on rough pavement(although not having awd might help). Sometimes it feels like it can use just a tad more power( this was addressed in the 08 model year). Other than those small gripes the CX-9 is a marvelous suv. It is surprisingly fun to drive. It takes corners beautifully and body roll is minimal. Personally I think it's the best in the segment. Go see it for yourself and I am sure you will fall in love with it like I did.
great car; great value

My main goal in purchasing the car was to have enough room for the three kids and a friend or two while getting out of the minivan mode. The mazda cx-9 fit my requirements perfectly. My only complaint is that I wish it got better gas mileage as I drive 45 miles a day to and from work. The Bose sound system was very disappointing and is terribly flat when listening to the radio and is a little better when listening to the cd. I don't have satelite radio, although it is equiped for it. The ride is wonderful, manuevers in and out of traffic well, and is comfortable to ride in. All in all, its a great car, fits all my kids and their friends, still has cargo room, and rides comfortably and quietly.
