Now have 83,000 miles and have had only only small problem with the interior cabin ventilation fan. Just regular maintenance. I love my Mazda Cx9

I purchased this car about 2 months ago and completely love it, it is gorgeous! My Cx9 Grand Touring is fully loaded and still surprizes me with new gadgets. The car drives very smoothly, and feels excellent inside. My family and I just took it for a family vacation to FL from IL, it was very confortable and decent on gas. I used to drive a Toyota Camry, so the amount of gas I buy for this car has taken some time to get used to. The size of the car was a little but of challange for me also, but again, it was easy to get used to b/c when you drive it it feels like a smaller car. I love the car and would recommend it to anyone!

nice 7 seater

so far this car has been an excellent purchase. i bought a cx-9 grand touring with just about everything on it. the ride is great, pretty comfortable, space is good and overall is a great car. i have a few issues with it though. 1. no info/setting system, no indication of gas mileage, miles to empty, oil change, no choice of how many locks unlock with smart key. (i had a 2005 nissan murano previously which got wrecked and along with navigation settings it has an info center allowing you to customize all these settings and more) 2. the keyless remote feels cheap and the style of remote you'd get from cheap electronics; something a bit more sturdy with precise buttons, i never know if ive pressed a button properly or not! again, see the murano remote, much better. 3. AUX capability!!!!! there is a little sticker inside the center console that says the aux input has been disabled due to the sirius sat radio...come on now mazda, thats a bit sneaky and cheap isnt it!!? i've read it'll be $175 to get some new hardware to get it usable again! overall, like i said its a great car. there are pros and cons between both the nissam murano and mazda cx-9 and i think it comes down to heritage. nissan has been up at the top for a while and has these previously mentioned cons sorted. mazda is up and coming; slowly building a more solid line of cars and it shows by their growth. if the cx-9 is supposed to rival other 7-seaters then there are plenty of refinements for them to work on. great effort for their first 7 seater suv and i'm sure it will only get better. love my cx-9, would recommend this car to anyone looking for a 7 seater with lots of bang for your buck.

Lots of compliments!!!

This is a beautiful looking car. Gets me so many compliments. Much better than a mini-van. The 3rd row isnt that comfortable as you can feel all the bumps. The midddle is roomy and so are the front seats. The car lacks horsepower but I use it for the family so I dont need much of that. Dont consider this car if you want to save on gas though!!!
