Have owned this car since new. Now have 83,000 miles and have had only only small problem with the interior cabin ventilation fan. Just regular maintenance. Car is powerful, smooth riding, great BOSE stereo, 4 wheel drive for added traction, roomy cabin and third row folding seats. Body is tight with now rattles, and still drives like when it was new.
Has all of the features we needed. Can comfortably fit adults in 3rd row seat.
Has plenty of power, even when hauling trailer. Middle row seats fold almost flush, is like truck bed with topper but also has luggage rack up top. Overall great car. I don't like the mpg with awd version. Would get 2wd of I had a do over.
A lot of car for the money
2013 Mazda CX-9Rick - Batesburg, SC01/08/2015
When comparing against its competitors, the CX-9 is a relatively small sales volume car and is priced less. Plenty of power, plenty of amenities, and much more space in the rear than you would imagine. A great traveling car. I'm 6'5", and the front seat roof height is still OK, though close. The 2nd row rear seats have more room than my XJ-8 and the 3rd row seats are actually usable.
