Best small sporty car

2006 Mazda Mazda3 4x Mazda owner - Houston TX 09/23/2010

This is my 4th Mazda. Great value for the $ for this class of car. Mazda offers more engine, warentee, and features for less than Honda, Nissan, or Toyota. I drive more than 100k miles before I move on with average of 75 miles a workday. The only negative I have is the low profile tires. I hate them! Ride rough, wear very fast and expensive to replace. Other than that the hatchback is great and people always turn to see the red sports car catching up to them.

I love this car!

2006 Mazda Mazda3 yanksfan - Tampa, Fl 11/01/2007

I have never driven a car that I love so much. It has amazing pickup and driveability. I am so happy that I bought this and not a Corolla or Civic. My husband always wants to take my car when he has to drive because he loves it better than his Camry.

My ZoomZoom Mazda3

2006 Mazda Mazda3 David_A_J - Knoxville, TN 06/17/2009

I have been driving my 'new' 2006 Mazda3 for about 6 weeks and have no regrets. It has the 2.0 liter engine, a 5-speed stick, 4-wheel disc brakes, side air bags, cruise control. The interior is nicely finished. It feels much nicer than most manufacturer's lower line cars. Front seat space is generous. The steering wheel not only tilts, but telescopes. So, I have been able to fine-tune my driving position to perfection. Rear seating is comfortable for 2 adults and bearable for 3. Most importantly, though, it handles with exhilarating precision and agility. It stops on a dime. Acceleration is peppy (esp. for a 2.0 liter engine). I'm getting about 30MPG in mixed city/highway driving. This is also (IMHO) the best-looking, sportiest small car around. What a great looking car! The only downside is that rear visibility is hampered by a high trunk and somewhat wide rear roof pillars. I have to take much greater care backing out of parking spots than I do when driving my wife's 2006 Scion xB.
