When I bought mine in 2007 it had 23, 000 miles on it. It now has over 155,500 and other than tires, brakes, shocks and struts, one tune up and a serpentine belt I have never had to replace a thing! It still has the original clutch which shows no signs of failing any time soon. The body is starting to develop a few areas of rust but everything in the car still works fine. I live in a very hilly area of CT and with snow tires on in the winter I have never gotten stuck. I could not have asked for nor bought a better, more reliable car and when it comes time to replace it I will buy another with no hesitation.

Car fit every need. I have the 5door hatchback for 1 month. I do alot of triathlons, which means many miles for training and to races. The ride is smooth and sporty. Though when road is rough, i do find a bit more road noise than my old car. But the gas milage is awsome. The comfort is great but on long trips can get a bit rigid. It had to be able to fit my tribike in the back. which i can do w/ the small seat still usable. I dont think the 2006 comes w/ or has option to a roof rack for bikes but i have found that Yakima racks fit perfectly. The look is great, sporty and the headlights are bright for night driving.

I've had my Mazda3 for about 3 months now and I must say it is very fun to drive! It had great pick up for a 4 cylinder and is a very smooth ride on long trips. The biggest thing I've noticed though, is the great gas mileage it gets!!
