I test drove the Mazda 3 and a Toyota Corrola - by far the Mazda 3 won me over! It has the comfort, pep, design and gas mileage that I was looking for. I did not like the toyota at all! My 3 is so much fun to drive. It is so me. I just got back from an 800 mile trip - everyone in the car was comfortable, gas mileage was awesome - 40 mpg - around town I get 35! Test drive one - you will buy it, I promise......... zoom zoom!
Wonderful little car for the money. I researched cars for over a month, read all the expert and customer reviews. Recently becoming and empty nester, and coming from a compact SUV, I wanted something sort of sporty, financially sensible, neat features like audio imput, and something that was safe and reliable for a single woman.
This is the car and I was able to locate the color I wanted in another state and have it shipped. It's also the perfect little car to put your own touches like tinted windows, a spoiler, different rims. If you're that kinda person.
Overall I'm very satisfied. I also love the fuel economy and this may be as good as it gets before getting into the electrics and hybrids. I have an automatic but love that there are some manual options on the I-Touring.
