2012 Mazda Mazda3Brie B. - Smithfield, VA04/03/2017
Hatch leaves lots of room for storage (great alternative to an SUV for families), comfortable drive, boost of a speed3 adds a bit more oomph over a plain NA 4cyl. Gets the job done with great gas mileage.
Just don't recommend getting a northern car or there'll be a ton of rust. Unless you want to swap out the suspension, then by all means. replaced mine due to the rear spring breaking due to rust (MD car).
the grand touring model has everything. The only thing I don't like is the power. It feels really weak. I'm always dragging behind in traffic. And I love the thrill of power. But aside from that this car is fantastic. Above average steering and handling. And I know first hand how well a Mazda 3 will handle a crash (very well). And it does get really good gas mileage. I get about 400 miles a tank or more, half city, half country. If this car just had a little more hp, it has 155hp, if it had just 180 i would give it 5 stars. If it had 200 or more then i wouldn't want anything else.
Love my Mazda3! I have the six speed and could t be happier. Never any lag even if I'm up a gear. Great for zooming around in traffic. Really a fun car but it is also great on gas. Handles really well in rain and snowy conditions. Overall very happy with my Mazda.
