The optional dynamic stability control serves to further smooth or sharpen the ride characteristics. A nice contribution to the genre of "driver's cars" pretending to be family sedans.

Transmission: Manual 5 Speed Color:Blue Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.615 reviews) I bought a used Mazda3 hatchback. It's a great car and lots of fun to drive. It looks classy and sporty. I love the sunroof and ability to put the back seats down for more trunk space. It gets great gas mileage on the highway but not so great in the city, especially with lots of stop and go driving. It has plenty of backseat room for kids but probably isn't very spacious for adults. For only being a couple of years old, some minor defects are noticeable from damage or wear and tear, possibly from the prior user notsomuch car quality. The seat fabric is okay but not really easy to keep clean.

Best Car I've Owned.

I have owned Toyota Celica's, a Honda CRX, and a couple of Subaru wagons. This car is the best one that I've ever owned. When looking to buy a new car a couple of years ago, I researched the Honda Fit, the Toyota Corolla and Matrix, Subaru Impreza. This car was the most fun to drive by far, and my father has had excellent reliability with his Mazda's. Nothing but oil changes through 150k miles. After a bunch of research and test driving, what finally sold me on the car was the combination of reliability, decent fuel economy, and pleasure when driving. I thought it interesting that among the drivers for Car and Driver magazine, a majority owned a newer Mazda3, because it is the best car for people who enjoy driving for the relatively low price.
