We love driving this car. The handling feels sporty, yet the ride is smooth and comfortable. The gas mileage surpasses that of some hybrids. We don't often chauffer passengers, but when we do, the back seat comfortably seats two. We have gotten three passengers in the back seat for a short distance, without it feeling terribly cramped. We enjoy the technological features as well.
2005 Mazda Mazda3Terese - San Diego, CA01/19/2015
This car is a lot of fun to drive! I look forward to driving with the sunroof open any chance I get. It has some decent pick-up speed. It's hard to not go over the speed limit! Whoever thought of the marketing slogan for this car was right on point! "zoom zoom"
the grand touring model has everything. The only thing I don't like is the power. It feels really weak. I'm always dragging behind in traffic. And I love the thrill of power. But aside from that this car is fantastic. Above average steering and handling. And I know first hand how well a Mazda 3 will handle a crash (very well). And it does get really good gas mileage. I get about 400 miles a tank or more, half city, half country. If this car just had a little more hp, it has 155hp, if it had just 180 i would give it 5 stars. If it had 200 or more then i wouldn't want anything else.
