AWESOME family car

My husband and I needed a car that would one day be filled with children. However, I wanted a vehicle that didnt' feel like a tank (i.e. SUV) and wasn't a soccer-mom wagon (minivan). Plus, we have 2 large dogs, so if there was SOME way that I could have a vehicle with kids AND pets, it would be perfect. And it WAS. I LOVE this car. The back 2 seats (3rd row) lay flat and the dogs chill there, and car seats for the middle rows. Air blows in the back area seperately from the front. ***ONLY annoyance- headlights don't come on automatically.

Mazda5 in CT

The Mazda5 that I have is a Grand Touring and this vehicle does have great value for the money. It already comes with a lot of bells and whistles such as bluetooth, cd changer, aux input for mp3 player, auto HID headlamps and rain sensing wipers. Leather seats, fog lamps and moonroof are standeard features and the nice thing is that this has a 3rd row seat. In some countries outside US, it is considered as a wagon or microvan... either way, this is a very functional vehicle that gives you great gas mileage and a lot of options. Rear sliding doors? Very convenient especially on tight spots!

Mazda 5

This car/minivan is an excellent choice for those who are looking for the economy of a car but the versatility of a minivan. Originally in the market for a minivan to go camping, road trips, flea markets, etc. The Mazda 5, has plenty of room to carry my 2 dogs and pretty much everything I need at the same time. It is the first minivan I have driven that is actually fun to drive. The gas mileage is decent for car but much better than what a minivan would have been. My only complaint is that the trim seem to be somewhat on the cheaper side. examples the plastic molding seem thin the padding in the seats could be more comfortable, outside tail-light had a small hairline crack that needed to be fixed. Pluses: fuel economy, room, driving fun minuses: quality of trim.
