Zoom Zoom Microvan

The Mazda5 has a lot of features for the money. It is a nicely optioned model. We have an 08 Grand Touring and my family loves it. It is more compact than our previous minivan so parking on tight spots is a breeze. The 2+2+2 seating is just hitting the target right on the spot. The options are nice - leather seats with front seat heaters, auto lights, auto windshield wiper, bluetooth technology, sunroof and HID headlamps with foglamps, to name a few. I am having fun with this vehicle and true to its zoom zoom bloodline, I feel like I am driving a go-kart... despite its I4 engine, when I step on it, with unnoticeable lagtime, it really does GO!

Mazda 5

This car/minivan is an excellent choice for those who are looking for the economy of a car but the versatility of a minivan. Originally in the market for a minivan to go camping, road trips, flea markets, etc. The Mazda 5, has plenty of room to carry my 2 dogs and pretty much everything I need at the same time. It is the first minivan I have driven that is actually fun to drive. The gas mileage is decent for car but much better than what a minivan would have been. My only complaint is that the trim seem to be somewhat on the cheaper side. examples the plastic molding seem thin the padding in the seats could be more comfortable, outside tail-light had a small hairline crack that needed to be fixed. Pluses: fuel economy, room, driving fun minuses: quality of trim.

Great Mazda5

The Mazda5 is a fantastic mini-minivan. After using a minivan (3 different vehicles and makes) for over 20 years, we were assigned a Mazda5 on a vacation trip. The car was so impressive that when we got home, we traded in our standard-sized minivan for a Mazda5. It has plenty of power and space, gets much better mileage, and is more easy to park. It combines the advantages of a minivan with a sedan. I think we will rarely use the back row of seats. We occasionally need to fold down the middle row to accommodate more cargo. That is very easy to do too. We got the top of the line model, just because that was what was at our location, but I am enjoying the leather seats and sunroof. When I replace my Toyota Camry, it will be with another Mazda5.
