Reviews for 2010 Mazda Mazda5
Functional and fun to drive
Great for small families who want the functionality of a minivan but don't need all the space. Just got 29-30 mpg on a long road trip. Sliding doors are awesome. Driver's seat leg room could be better if the driver is over 6 ft (like myself), but it's not cramped. A bit of road noise, but it drives and handles better than most cars I've driven. Great vehicle!
Love our new Mazda5!
I couldn't be happier with this car. It's the perfect vehicle for a young couple on a budget starting a family, or anyone who needs lots of cargo space but still wants good fuel economy and a reasonably priced vehicle. Nothing on the market compares to the 5 with its 3-row seating, sliding rear doors, and compact shape. We were lucky to find a Grand Touring model, so it has all the bells and whistles including leather seats (also great for kids). The best feature of Mazda is handling; my husband who used to race cars raves about the responsiveness of these cars. Couldn't be happier with this vehicle!
Great car, not luxury, but dependable.
The 2.3 liter engine - I think it's peppy. I also like the front seat comfort. It is a 2+2+2 seating arrangement. In my 2010 Mazda 5 cargo volume behind the third row (trunk) is very small but with third row seats folded down it expands to 44 cubic feet and 79 cubic feet with middle row folded down as well. I own a Santa Fe Sport. This Mazda 5 has slightly more room for cargo. We love the individual arm rests for the 4 seats in the front and middle rows. The rear seating is cramped and only small children would fit well. We use it as a very comfortable 4 passenger vehicle with very comfortable seating for all of us, not just the driver. The headroom in the middle accommodates my 6 foot 3 inch son just fine.
