Customer Review Summary for Mazda MX-5 Miata
2007 Mazda MX5
2007 Mazda MX-5-MiataFish - Texas04/26/2011
Blast to drive
Easy to park
Seats hold you in place while cornering
Once in the powerband it gets up and goes
Very quiet for a convertible
Excellent heat and A/C
Motor just seems to keep on pulling once you hit the powerband
It makes my ugly mug look good.
This is a fun little car that just begs for corners. It is not a 1/4 mile racer and was never meant to be. But give it some nice tight corners and this little toy shines. This Miata is more fun to drive than any other car I've had including a '69 GTO.
Not much room, but then again it's a small sports car
Seats are not very comfortable
Sluggish at the start, once you hit 2500 RPM it takes off
Did I mention it's small
THE Driver's Car

Such a fun little car. I look forward to finding an empty windy road whenever I can and just throwing it into the corners. The sense of confidence it provides and how solid and planted it feels in all conditions. Slowing down for a corner seems so antiquated now.
I do have to think twice about making any purchase as the cargo space is extremely limited. Also the interior does get a bit loud on a rough road since with the convertible soft top you are basically driving in a drum.
I don't believe there is such a thing as a perfect car, but this is as close as it gets. The few downsides are minor compared to all of the benefits such as Japanese reliability and the sense of fun this car distills in you.
Fun car to own and drive
