A Lot of Bang for the Buck
You cannot beat a convertible. Bose stereo is as amazing as Bose claims. This car is so fun to drive.
We love both our Miata and Carmax
It's a joy to ride. Hugs the road on every turn. Lots of power. The hardtop is so easy and solidly built. I called the Mazda dealer service department says he rarely sees any issues. The Carmax buying experience was so good, I bought the stock.
I have never owned a convertible and decided that I have reached a point in my life that it was now time. I wanted a hard-top version that was not excessively priced and the Mazda was my choice. The top opens and closes easily. The car is quick off of the line due to the 6 speed transmission (automatic). It responds quickly and changes lanes with ease. The seats are not as supportive as I would have preferred, no lower back adjustment available. Getting into and out of the car is a bit of a challenge because the steering wheel does raise high enough. When I am the passenger rather than the driver I cannot extend my legs fully even with the passenger seat completely back. This isn't an issue on the driver's side. The totally keyless system has performed perfectly. The car averages 27 mpg for me over the first 1100 miles of use. I look forward to driving the car on days when I can lower the top and do so at every opportunity. I recommend this car to anyone who wants a responsive car and isn't looking for a "soft" ride. The turning radius is great making a U-turn easy and cornering fast.
