Transmission: Automatic Color:Red Interior Color: White Average Vehicle Review: (0 reviews) Even being a 4400lbs 3rd row seat SUV, I was surprised of the car-like handling and ride. The steering is light and inputs are responsive. The 273HP V-6 is smooth and mated to a 6 speed automatic transmission that makes use of the power by keeping the revs up when accelerating.

Transmission: Automatic Color:Red Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (0 reviews) I researched for a long time before buying. The CX-5 is very highly rated by practically every reviewer and website. The particular one I settled on had fairly high mileage, but it also had every possible bell and whistle - loaded. The engine is not particularly powerful, but is very revvy and willing. The transmission is excellently designed to get the most from the engine, both in MPG and performance. This crossover corners very well, and is rock solid and confidence inspiring at any speed. It doesn't drive like an SUV at all! It feels and drives more like a well-sorted sports car. It also has tons of room and comfort - unlike any sports car.

Reliable performance at a great price!

Even being a 4400lbs 3rd row seat SUV, I was surprised of the car-like handling and ride. The steering is light and inputs are responsive. The 273HP V-6 is smooth and mated to a 6 speed automatic transmission that makes use of the power by keeping the revs up when accelerating.

A lot of car for the money

When comparing against its competitors, the CX-9 is a relatively small sales volume car and is priced less. Plenty of power, plenty of amenities, and much more space in the rear than you would imagine. A great traveling car. I'm 6'5", and the front seat roof height is still OK, though close. The 2nd row rear seats have more room than my XJ-8 and the 3rd row seats are actually usable.
