A comfortable ride with basic features. It has a V-6 engine but not a fast start. It moves well but I would like a little more horsepower. It is exactly what I wanted, which was an SUV without all the size. It has the height of an SUV but not the bulk or length. It has enough room for 4 or 5 to ride comfortably and to store things. I love the fact that it has a trailer hitch. I did not see this feature on many of the other, similar type of SUV's that I researched.
We bought our Tribute because of the reliablity of our other 2 Mazdas, but oh boy all I can say it WOW am I impressed. I drive about 800 miles a week . I have had to replace the brakes, and now the struts and change oil at 3,000 miles since it was new.I would not change anything about this fun to drive, cheap to operate, machine of mine. I am considering giving this one to the kids at 200k and get a new one just like it.
