2004 Mazda TributeJJ - Ft. Lauderdale, FL11/06/2007
I've had this vehicle three years and although I have not had many major problems, I have had continous minor issues and repairs. The overall quality of this care is subpar and seems like a nice package over an inferior product. Break troubles twice, AC troubles, car stalling in reverse, stock stereo display going out, interior cloth coming off, very rough shifting, runs very hot.... on and on. Only 50k miles and perfect maintenance.
It performs like a trooper and handled very well in the snow and ice this winter. It's downfall is that the seats are like riding on cloth-covered boards. Amenities without plush is no fun. The gas mileage is right-on at about 20 mpg for most fill-ups. There is plenty of space to cart things around.
I love driving my Tribute. The seats are comfortable, the gas milage isn't too bad, and I love the way it looks. I would say it is a little noisy, but otherwise I have no complaints. I enjoy my hour long commute to work now!
