Customer Review Summary for 2009 Mercedes-Benz C300
2009 Mercedes-Benz C300none - Riva,Md.07/28/2012
I purchased my c300 on june 23,2012,on july 27th I had to replace the battery at a cost of $160 dollars,as I was stranded at the walmart in Bowie in near 100 degree heat. I wonder if you checked the battery for life during your inspection process? To that degree I am greatly disapointed.
This was not the car I initially had in mind when I made the decision to purchase a German luxury car--I wanted a BMW. But, after test driving several BMW models and comparing the price against the roominess/feel of the Mercedes, I purchased the MB C300 Sport. This car has a very clear instrument panel and intuitive controls. In fact, there really aren't any silly extra features and indicators that look great in a brochure, but can be a distraction/maintenance nightmare in "real life". The visibility is also very good (in some of the BMW models I test drove, the back seat head rests blocked most of the rear view). The cruise control is the easiest, most straightforward setting I have used in any car, and I have driven many different American and Japanese brands. Bluetooth phone setup was seamless, and an important safety consideration. The gas mileage is unbeliveable: I drove the car on a trip from southern California up to Sacramento, and got well over 468 miles to a tank of gas. I used the cruise control for the majority of the drive, which might have helped with the gas mileage, but it really impressed me about the choice I made. I have never purchased a German car, let alone a luxury type, so this was a dream come true--a personal milestone and a reward to myself for years of hard work. So far, I am very pleased with the quality and performance of this vehicle, probably the first car I have ever had where I really look forward to driving, and that makes me feel happy and safe. I highly recommend this car.
