Mercedes Benz C300 Review
While the car looks great (cherry red 4-door, sporty) its construction is not optimal. For example, the turning signals are below the windshield wipers in a spot you would not expect. The auxiliary and IPOD jacks are in the glove compartment- not handy at all. It has been extremely difficult to connect my smartphone to the hands free system in the car- it is not intuitive and the manual is not that helpful. It has been equally difficulty to set up the auxiliary function. The car does ride relatively smooth, but since it is a lower end Benz it is not that quiet on the inside. The stereo sound is great and I am really enjoying the sunroof. The car gets lousy gas mileage and it requires the use of premium gas. The speed is great however! The zero to sixty is fantastic! I like the dual climate control and seat warmers although I have not really used either. I do not like that the car came with a donut rather than a full tire. In sum, the car has some good features but a lot remains to be desired.
This is a great car. Now I know what they mean by German engineering. It is a joy to drive, its response is quick and easy, it feels very powerful but very smooth. It is now a real treat to glide through the 'round-a-bouts'. All the systems are automatic; the windshield wipers, the lights, the seat settings, the mirror settings, the steering wheel position, and probably more I haven't learned about yet. It is beautiful and luxurious and just my size!
It's been a great car
