2009 Mercedes-Benz C350 - S. California10/17/2012
Almost 2 years ago, I purchased a 2009 MB c300 from Carmax. I've really enjoyed the car and how reliable it is but wanted a bit more horsepower and extra features that aren't included in the c300. Based on the great experience with the c300, I wanted to stay with the MB brand. I recently bought the c350 and have nothing negative to say about it. For me, the car fits like a glove and is very comfortable, even for the sport version. I like the beautiful 2009-10 styling much more so than the current model year, and feel there is nothing lacking for power and performance. This car only uses premium fuel, but it is better for the longevity of the engine and the car gets decent gas mileage anyway (from experience, a bit more than what is stated online). Some people aren't thrilled with the AUX audio in the glovebox, but I put my ipod there and can simultaneously charge my phone while driving so I don't see the problem: With bluetooth, steering controls, and the control panel, you won't have any access or other issues (you don't ever need to physically touch any of the devices while driving). I think it's actually safer for the driver and reflects thoughtful design. Definitely a car to add or keep on your test driving/consideration list. Happy driving!
Mercedes hit a home-run when they finally redesigned the C-Class. The interior is classy, functional, and sleek. The exterior is definitely a head turner. I can't write this review without mentioning the performance...let's just say 0-72 on the uphill on-ramp. This is our first Mercedes...I'm hooked and this won't be our last!
