2007 Mercedes CLK 350

This car is awesome. Mercedes Benz quit building the CLK 350 convertible in 2009 which is sad because I bought this 2007 model and already would like to have another one in the future. I love the ride and luxury of this car. I've been a convertible driver my whole life and have owned fords, chevy's, BMW's, etc. and this convertible is the most luxurious, and comfortable one yet. The convertible top operation is smoother than any ragtop I've ever owned. I was also very impressed with the power and responsiveness of this car. You can drive with the top down and the windows rolled up, and have a quiet and comfortable conversation with other occupants in the car with very little wind noise. This car is very aerodynamic so you don't have the wind noise of other convertibles.I have the V-6 version which has plenty of power. I don't see any need to purchase the V-8 version of this car. The V6 has tons of getup and go. It has more power than the 6 cylinder BMW that I just traded in. The only hickup I found when I purchased this car was the blue tooth wasn't set up. The car is wired for bluetooth but the previous owner never had the bluetooth module installed and they run about $500. I also found out, once I had purchased this car that it takes 91 octane or higher grade of gas so get ready to by premium gas for this car if you want to take care of it correctly. My recomendation is to buy this car. Mercedes hit a home run with this one. The color on my car is called Black Opel which is really a real dark blue. It is a rare Mercedes color per the Mercedes dealership as not many CLK's came in this color. The interior is a real pretty cream colored leather. It's a light color which is preferred on convertibles in central Texas where the sun gets real hot in the summertime.I've named her Blue Bell

Great cruising convertible

We have owned this car now for almost 4 years. We are very pleased with the car. Great ride & handling, fuel economy is 30 mpg on the highway and average of 22 mpg all around. My wife is the primary driver and it is hard for me to get to drive the Mercedes. So at every opportunity I get I get behind the wheel and am just amazed on the comfort of the car. With the convertible roof down there is very little wind noise, we can have a normal conversation while cruising down the highway at 70 - 75mph. We are always getting compliments on the looks of the car.

2007 CLK350 Convertible

First let me start by saying that we had owned BMW convertibles for the past 15 years, and were looking for a replacement for several weeks, but were unable to find what we were looking for. Living in Florida my wife and I have an agreement that one of our cars will always be a convertible, has been that way for 21 years now! Finally decided on the Benz 350CLK, and have been extremely satisfied. The car is beautiful both inside and out. The options are typical for those found in luxuary cars. The ride is extremely smooth for a convertible, but unlike the BMW which it replaced not quite as peppy, of course that could be since the Bimmer was a stick. Gas mileage is satisfactory, wont win any awards for that. Interior noise is suprisingly good with the roof up, much better than the BMW. The workmanship is what one would expect from Mercedes, lots of attention to detail. A little disappointed in the factory navagation system. The system is DVD driven, and a new DVD retails for something in the $400 range from the dealer. With all the construction going on around the country, dont know how long these will be accuarte. Cost of repairs I can tell all ready will be higher than average, but if you accept that prior to purchase, shouldnt be a surprise. All in all, would highly recommend this vehicle.
