luxury grocery getter with 507hp

Impossible to drive this car without smiling. With 507hp and a back seat you can comfortably fit a nornal size person, It is a perfect combination of comfort, luxury, convenience and sport.

King of the road

Speed, supreme handling, "tech stuff", killer sound system, safety features and drop dead gorgeous, this car is the total package. Maintenance is on par with the e550, except for replacing the front rotors. ($3000 plus) Although, as my name implies, I'm biased to AMG's, for the money' this car is a beast. You feel like King of the road while driving thic car. You can comfortably haul groceries, or, (always obey the speed limit), when needed, it hauls tail!! This is am M5 killer!! Pure testosterone... This car should be on your bucket list..

Really enjoying my E63 AMG

It's been a bit over a month since purchasing my 2008 Mercedes E63 and I love it. Think pumped-up V8 engine with AMG handling, brake and cosmetic package meets luxury sedan that fits 4. It's a muscle car with German aesthetics. My other car is a BMW M3. The M3 has a stiffer suspension and is truly a 2 person sports car. The E63, by comparison, has a softer (but still sporty) ride that my wife likes better. It also is extremely comfortable/luxurious for 4 adults. And hammer the throttle and listen to the sound of that 6 liter 500HP engine. The combination of sporty driving + comfort means this will be our road trip vehicle in addition to the car we prefer to drive together. My biggest complaint is that the outstanding driver and passenger characteristics of this car are not matched by the electronics, which feel like they are stuck in 1999. The navigation/entertainment system is far surpassed by today's average entry-level rental car. No touch-screen. Complex data entry for navigation is not intuitive or friendly. Worse yet, no on-board Blue Tooth integration. There is a built-in spot for a phone cradle, but you have to purchase a dealer upgrade that provides Blue Tooth via a dongle. And that only integrates blue tooth with the phone, not the stereo. Overall love driving this car. Don't love that I'm going to have to spend some money on after market modifications if I want to have hands-free phone use. There is a plug in the glove compartment that allows me to connect an iPod, but this feels like a 2nd string solution. I would recommend this car to anyone--particularly if they are able to get a deal on a used model like we did--who can live with the ancient electronics.
