Transmission: Automatic Color:Gray Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (5 reviews) This vehicle looks great has plenty of power and options . The fuel economy is poor . Maintainence is expensive . The Airmatic suspension is prone to failure , tires are costly, I've had window switches break, and other little things go wrong that take away from the joy of owning the car and jack up the cost of owning it .

Transmission: Automatic Color:Silver Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4 reviews) Excellent vehicle, I have owned all of the luxury SUV from Lexus to Range Rover and this is by far the best if ever owned. This is my 3rd GL. My first one was purchased in 2007 and I have never turned back. It handles like a luxury MB vehicle, I also own an S550 and the drive is the same. Excellent gas mileage for an SUV and great on and off road as well as maintenance costs are affordable.

Best Luxury 7 Seater

Very impressive 7 seater compared to the LR4, Q7, X5, Escalade, & Enclave I was looking at. The price was definitely worth it considering the price for a new one. The LR4 comes close but didnt have that luxury but truck feel (wife didnt appreciate that); Q7 & X5 3rd rows are too cramped to be taken seriously; Escalade felt much larger to drive; and the Enclave had a better seating arrangements 2/2/3 but lacked in luxury - it seemed like a minivan interior with a decent exterior. The LR4 though may have a better chance than the LR3 & GL450 when it comes to seating arrangements due to the 3rd row access (30/40/30) & easy pull down seats. But GL450 won out overall due to luxury. Cons for the GL: getting in/out of the 3rd row is such an effort. I hope they solved this issue with newer models. Given that the 3rd row is electrical, it had a pulley system that required a huge effort to fold the front seats. Also if you want to put in a rear camera, it will cost you 1400$ (quote from 3 places). Pros: luxury, price if used, comfort 2nd & 3rd rows, & smooth ride. Its a nice machine & gets looks.

Worth the price

With a large family it has enough room. It has excellent air conditioning system. With 4wheel drive handles curves with ease. Radio sounds good with multiple choices (sat. Hd
