Transmission: Automatic Color:White Interior Color: Brown Average Vehicle Review: (4 reviews) This vehicle looks great has plenty of power and options . The fuel economy is poor . Maintainence is expensive . The Airmatic suspension is prone to failure , tires are costly, I've had window switches break, and other little things go wrong that take away from the joy of owning the car and jack up the cost of owning it .

Great Car

I love the way the Mercedez Benz GL450 looks. It has very defined lines that make it outside appearance look tough but sophisticated. The inside is well maintained with all the features one would need in a luxury car. This is our first car with a back up camera and I will definitely pick this as on option on the next one. The other features such as power lift gate, electronic folding mirrors, power folding third row seats, rear seat entertainment system are great options. The MB brand can sometimes be seen as pretentious but Ilove the quality, performance, and ride of the vehicle. It is our second MB and I would definitely buy another. I looked at all the other car brands for SUV and cross over and this was the one that impressed me the most. We took it on a 9 hour trip (each way) and it was such a wonderful drive, much better than the mini van we took in previosu years. The only thing the many van had on this vehicle was more cargo space.

Best Luxury 7 Seater

Very impressive 7 seater compared to the LR4, Q7, X5, Escalade, & Enclave I was looking at. The price was definitely worth it considering the price for a new one. The LR4 comes close but didnt have that luxury but truck feel (wife didnt appreciate that); Q7 & X5 3rd rows are too cramped to be taken seriously; Escalade felt much larger to drive; and the Enclave had a better seating arrangements 2/2/3 but lacked in luxury - it seemed like a minivan interior with a decent exterior. The LR4 though may have a better chance than the LR3 & GL450 when it comes to seating arrangements due to the 3rd row access (30/40/30) & easy pull down seats. But GL450 won out overall due to luxury. Cons for the GL: getting in/out of the 3rd row is such an effort. I hope they solved this issue with newer models. Given that the 3rd row is electrical, it had a pulley system that required a huge effort to fold the front seats. Also if you want to put in a rear camera, it will cost you 1400$ (quote from 3 places). Pros: luxury, price if used, comfort 2nd & 3rd rows, & smooth ride. Its a nice machine & gets looks.

The best multi-purpose luxury vehicle available.

I love it!
