Customer Review Summary for 2006 Mercedes-Benz ML350
2006 Mercedes-Benz ML350TXLady - 08/28/2009
I fell in love with the looks of this SUV and purchased one about a month ago. I'm satisifed with the exterior and most of the interior. I do wish it had cup holder in the back. I thought it was weird that it would have an ashtray and not cup holders back there. It does make a choking sound when I shift into P or into D. You can really hear it when the window is down. When I test drove this car it drifted to the right. After taking it to get serviced I was told that this is the way the car drives. I'm not happy about that. It's a little bouncy but it is a SUV so overall a smooth drive.
There is a known issue with this model. Check Engine Light - Cam Shaft Failure - Diagnostic Code = P0016. Cost to repair = $6,000.00

I fell in love with this vehicle as I ended up purchasing one as a CPO from a dealer. However, my biggest complaint is when shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear it chokes a bit. I thought maybe something was wrong but mercedes has assured me that is just the normal shifting feel. So I am left disappointed. It is a gas guzzler but when you are looking at any SUV that is par. Other than that it looks great and I get compliments on it all the time. I just expect more from a luxury car....
