Customer Review Summary for Mercedes-Benz
Looks really cool... otherwise...
2013 Mercedes-Benz SLK250Dave Reinmuth - Dallas, TX07/13/2016
Sluggish reaction of acceleration, difficult to get in/out, no storage, no rear camera, requires frequent maintenance, no traffic on GPS without Sirius membership, pops into manual when steering paddle is accidentally touched, some dash readouts are difficult to see / interpret
This is an outstanding car. Drives smooth, feels good, handles well, very quiet inside, have very good acceleration (I have a diesel version). It also has a lot of cool features, such heated seats, joystick regulated steering column, memory seats, the best navigation I ever have had, collision warning, folded back seats, driving assistance, just to name a few...
I have owned a 2012 E350 for about 3 years and it is clearly the nicest car I have ever owned. Granted, most of my cars have been Accord and Camry types, but I always thought they were pretty nice. I drove a good number of premium cars in my search for this car including Acura, Cadillac, and Lexus, but after driving the MB the rest didn't seem very impressive. This car has plenty of power and the ride is very smooth and quiet. In fact, I think the interior sound may be it's best attribute. The car gets very good gas mileage for a vehicle with a 300+ HP engine. I generally get 23 MPG or so which I am pretty happy with.
Lots of eager shoppers may be surprised to know that many of the features found on some of the latest 2018 vehicles are already available on newer used cars. Here’s a breakdown of some of these cool features.
