Some people were surprised when I bought this car because I am 73 years old. I am greatly enjoying it. A fun car. Everything works beautifuly on it, especially the convertible part. Practical car? No. Fun car? Yes. Beautiful styling. Only negative is it only carries 2 passengers and has minimal storage space. Great car, glad I bought it.
This is an extremely fun car to drive for a two seated roadster. I test drove a couple of these smaller sports cars and this by far felt the most luxurious and comfortable. The hard top is very nice to have and makes it feel like a regular sedan when its up. When the top is down the car becomes alive and you feel the joy of riding in a well made and very sexy convertable. This is not a car for trips where you need to have a lot of luggage as there is very limited space when the top is down. It does have more space than the Mazda Miata, but should have enough for a smaller suitcase for one person. The engine and power is amazing and you can zip up to 60 mph in a very short notice...so much so that I have had to be careful to hold on for dear life because the pick-up is so good. My only problem I had was with the transmission and this model has had issues with the speed sensor so make sure that you have the underbody and transmission inspected by a Mercedes dealership before you buy. Carmax honored the 30 day warrantee and replace some defective parts which I really appreciated. I would highly recommend this roadster that is a pure joy to drive for any person seeking the joys of convertable driving.
