I did my research on luxury sedans before deciding on the Mercedes-Benz E350 over other cars in the category like the Audi A6, Cadillac CTS, and BMW 335i. After driving these modesl, my decision to purchase the E350 was simply that it brings the entire package I was looking for (performance, interior amenities, safety, and reliability) in a design that is strikingly refined yet not over the top. The ride is tremendous and the interior is extremely comfortable for my size (6'2" 220lbs).

Pros

Power: Smooth, crisp acceleration with plenty of passing power under the pedal
Interior Space: Ample space front and back for the larger of the species
Styling: Classic, refined styling

Can't recommend this vehicle. This particular make/model has what I have found to be a common manufacturing defect that causes it to lose cylinder heads. I haven't had my vehicle for hardly 3 months...

Can't recommend this vehicle. This particular make/model has what I have found to be a common manufacturing defect that causes it to lose cylinder heads. I haven't had my vehicle for hardly 3 months, and the engine failed. It has been with the Mercedes dealership for multiple weeks now, with extensive repairs required. I have found out that many other GLA 250's have had the same issue. Definitely regretting this purchase right now.

Pros

Styling: Interior of the vehicle is beautiful.

Cons

Reliability: Engine had a major failure (cylinder head) at under 44,000 miles.

Multiple safety concerns. Surprised M-B has not had any recalls on this car as numerous other have similar sensor issues.
