Great Value!

Having a extended Town & Country and Dodge Caravan in the past , I was concerned about making the transition to a smaller car. This car is great! Several times a year, I take pleasure trips with a friend for a Marathon Shopping weekend. We are very comfortable for the drive. Gas mileage is average. If that is an issue for you, the Mariner hybrid would be a solution. My favorite feature is the engine update, including how many miles till gas is needed, when the oil change is due, emissions etc, complete with visual display. If a door is open or liftgate is ajar, a warning sound as well as visual display identifies a problem. The door keypad offers great security for keys locked in the car. I also like the seat warmer. having mild arthitis, I am comfortable on those chilly days. The second seat is spacious and can seat 3 comfortably. The back seat can be put down to allow more cargo space. A privacy screen covers the back cargo if needed. I enjoy my car and highly recommend this vehicle.

Great vehicle!

This is a great vehicle, stylish and economical to drive. The all wheel drive gives you the ability to go anywhere! The cargo capacity is fantastic, i can haul almost anything I want. This is a very smooth running vehicle that shifts almost imperceptibly.

Mariner has great features

The Mariner has almost all the same great comfort features of my Landrover LR3. Leather trim, sunroof, heated seats, electric seats, etc. Few things I missed were arm rests while driving distances, stereo controls on the steering wheel, and heated seats in the second row. (If you haven't had stereo controls on the steering wheel then you won't even notice.) But hey, the Mercury was 1/3 of the price of my Landrover and looks great too. Fuel economy is 17mpg in the city and uses regular unleaded fuel. All in all a comfortable little SUV. Its not big cargo vehicle and it doesn't race around the city, but its fun and comfy to get passengers near and far.
