Customer Review Summary for 2007 Mercury Grand Marquis

This is my 4th Grand Marquis. I've been driving them since my early 20s. They are not flashy, but are extremely durable and safe. Its too bad Ford didn't put more research into developing a comparable replacement. All 4 have been extremely reliable and very inexpensive to keep in operation. Yes, the gas mileage should be better, but even still, if you look at the total cost of owning the car, the mileage is more than offset by the low frequency and cost of repairs.

This is just what I'd expect of a big American V-8 car with rear wheel drive. Its ride is smooth, handling is good for this type car, and the performance is all anyone could need for merging on a freeway. It's a great family and travel car. Mileage in suburban driving is 16+ mpg.
This car is loaded with powered options, most everything except a sunroof and navigation system. I especially like the adjustable foot pedals. Seats are comfortable, armrests are great (but I must admit I miss a center console storage area). The entertainment system is excellent and intuitive to use.
The metallic gold exterior and tan interior are very attractive and well matched. The trunk has normal space for this class of car, could use a little more lighting. The spare is a regular tire, which I like.
This class of car is disappearing. I'm very glad that I have one that should last many years.
