Used Mercury Grand Marquis in Dulles, VA for Sale
Reviews for Mercury Grand Marquis
Great replacement car
I had a 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis with 205K miles on it which was still running fine. The 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis had less than 61K miles. Based on the reliability of the previous car, I felt the 2003 Mercury would last me for many years to come.
Yes, the Grand Marquis is antiquated. It is too big, too heavy, and lacks the latest gizmos and features. But it is because of this and in spite of this that I chose it. The v-8 has plenty of power and fuel economy is far better than any full sized SUV. The sedan seats 6. Not too many cars can boast that these days. And the ride? It is the perfect road trip car. Yes, My grandpa had this car. Heck, My great aunt STILL drives a Grand Marquis and has had several for the past 24 years. Even Daddy drove one. Why? they are comfortable reliable reasonably fast and big. They work!
My New Ride
I was interested in purchasing a cadillac or town car. I thought they were the only car to provide me with leg/head/seat room. I was not able to find a newer model with low miles and an affordable price. I lucked up on the Mercury. It has plenty of leg/head room. I just took it on a road trip and the ride was smooth and it was good on the gas. I love the color of the car....it's suppose to be blue but it has a grayish tint to it. I haven't seen another one this color so it makes me feel special. I have read many reviews regarding this model....as long as I service it...it will perform.
